Day 24

Foggy ravine.

  1. This picture makes one think of so many different things at once. It could lead to a dark and mysterious body lying in the foggy ravine...or...
Romeo and Juliette could have arranged a secret meeting...or...
The light of Heaven is glowing and this is the end of your wonderful days...or...
The spirits are confusing a weary traveler with a light which he believes is sent from above and follows it to his death in the ravine...or...
It could lead him home, (if you want a happy ending.) :)
I could honestly keep going with all the different stories this picture tells, but one very obvious story is- Thomas Bachmann is a absolutely marvelous photographer and really has an astounding talent which is being put to good use!!

  3. Here is a compliment in reply to your compliment which was in reply to my compliment on which I originally complimented this photograph. The fact is, when complimenting a complimenter, you must find a compliment worthy of the complimenter's compliment. So instead of complimenting my complimenter who I originally complimented in the first place, I shall say thank you and take your compliment as writing one of the best compliments.

    2. Yes, I did come up with that myself. :) Thanks, I'll have to keep that one and put it in one of my books. :)

    4. I do not think of writing as book writing, I think of it as a way of keeping my brain from insanity and chaos. Should I choose not to write, I fear I will suffer the consequences. Writing is more living than life to those who do it. You live through your camera, and I live through the pages of a book, we both see, hear and do what comes to us in a natural way. I often believe that writing chose me, just like photography chose you. So, am I a book writer? Yes. :)
